Bobby, Mugdha to unveil ‘Help’ at IIFA

Actors Bobby Deol and Mugdha Godse will unveil the first look of their horror-thriller film ‘Help’ at The International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) 2010, on June 3 in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Also accompanying the duo will be the director of the film Rajeev Virani and the producers Sanjay Ahluwalia & Vinay Choksey.

At the event, the first promo of the film will played be on the screens exclusively for the media present from all around the World.

Directed by debutant director Rajeev Virani and produced by Sanjay Ahluwalia & Vinay Choksey of Rupali Aum Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., ‘Help’ was shot lavishly in Mauritius and Mumbai for a schedule of 45 days spread over a period of 8 months.

Bobby is very excited about his new film and the new look in the film and said: “I am very happy that the 1st look of our film will be unveiled at an International Platform like IIFA. The film is great and technically very sound. I believe in it in all ways and hope that the audiences will like the film too.”

Meanwhile, Mugdha said “I am very happy for HELP to be a part of IIFA 2010. I attended the IIFA last year also in Macao where my last film had its 1st look unveiled and glad that this time it’s ‘Help’ in Colombo, Sri Lanka. It is one the finest films of my career till date and I am hoping it will be a big leap for me as an actor.”

‘Help’ is a supernatural horror film that draws upon the story of a malevolent spirit who refuses to leave the human world.

Protagonist Vic (Bobby Deol) is a successful horror film director in Bollywood and is married to Pia (Mugdha Godse). Pia and Vic are having marital problems and in the midst of their troubled marriage, they have to rush Mauritus to visit Pia’s ailing father.

Little do they know that there’s something ancient and dark that remains still, hidden and silent in the old house where Pia grew up.

It can only wait, having been concealed in the shadows for years and all it wants to do is to strike again!

As the darkness spreads, things start to get worse and the spirit tries to annihilate everything. Now Vic and Pia must race against time to find out the secret which will save their lives.

Will their love gather the strength to survive the malevolent spirit or will they witness the most horrifying truths of their lives in a doomed attempt to save everything and everyone that means anything to the both of them.

‘Help’ is all set to scorch the cinemas all over on July 9.
