Amitabh Bachchan's Royal Suite at Macao

The brand ambassador of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards, Amitabh Bachchan is always given the best suite in the hotel that hosts the celebrity guests of the event. And the one that the Big B will be given this time is something just short of royalty.

This year IIFA will be hosted by The Venetian, Macao. Like its sister property The Venetian in Las Vegas, The Venetian Macao is a Renaissance Venice-themed property featuring famous landmarks from Venice with over 3000 suites. And the best of the lot has been reserved for Mr. and Mrs. Amitabh Bachchan.

The Big B's suite is on the seventh floor with its own private swimming pool, patio and lawn. The suite has three master bedrooms and each bedroom has its own steam, sauna, exercise and massage room. The bathroom is entirely operated by gadgets. A switch will ensure that the collapsible pot is opened. The second switch washes you after your use while the third one dries you up. However, the best is reserved for the last. The last switch powders your backside…

Mr. Bachchan stayed at that suite when he was in Macao early this month for a promotional activity of IIFA. And this was what one overheard him saying, "One needs a golf buggy to take me from the bedroom to the bathroom. It is really far."
