Tony Blair Makes Movie Debut at iifa awards 2007
British Prime Minister Tony Blair made his movie debut with a short film, directed by Indian filmmaker Shekhar Kapur, to promote climate change awareness.
The movie, titled 'Global Cool', also stars actress Sienna Miller, reported contactmusic.com.
Blair plays a 'carbon crusader' in 'Global Cool', which was premiered at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards ceremony.
The 54-year-old Labour Party leader said: 'I've been preparing for this role for the last 10 years. It was great to be part of 'Global Cool'. But remember, I was only one of a billion people saving the planet in this movie - and they are all stars.'
